Care Standards


The NiC BAND Program is a set of twelve standards of care and service. Each one was developed with the needs of a rapidly changing individual, your infant, in mind. Every patient within the NiC BAND Program will be entitled to the following:

An appointment for evaluation within 3 days of the initial call to our office.

Delivery of the NiC BAND within 10 days of scanning your baby.

 



 

03

 

A secretary will investigate your insurance coverage, gather all medical documentation

and assist in a parent’s efforts to appeal any denial of coverage.

 



 

04

 

A custom designed cranial helmet specifically for you infant.

 



 

05

 

An exit scan comparison of the before and after treatment will be created at the end

of treatment.

 



 

06

 

Measurements will be recorded at every follow-up.

 



 

07

 

A Scan of the infants head will be made to fabricate the NiC BAND.

This is a class I Laser device that is FDA approved for use on infants and is safe for the

eyes. It is very similar to a grocery scanner.

A comprehensive care and use guide will be provided at delivery.

A practitioner will be available 24/7 for emergencies and questions.

Adjustments will be scheduled within 48 hours of a call to our office.

Follow-ups will be scheduled at 2 or 4 week intervals depending on the starting age

of the infant.

Complimentary evaluation and risk assessment of Plagiocephaly.
